Police Officer/School Resource Officer Village of Rib Lake Applications are being accepted for a full-time Police Officer/ School Resource Officer position at the Village of Rib Lake Police Department. Employees in this position will perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to, taking calls for service, patrolling to deter and detect crime, investigating complaints, citing and/or arresting law violators, preparing and/or serving civil processes, protecting persons and property, enforcing local laws/ ordinances, and essential duties of the School Resource Officer. Interested applicants for the Police Officer/School Resource Officer position must be certifiable by the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board; current certification is preferred. Applicants must possess a minimum of 60 college credits at the time of employment, a current driver’s license, and no criminal convictions. Applicants will be subject to a written test, oral interview, medical examination, drug screening, psychological evaluation, and background investigation. This is a salaried position. Benefits include health insurance, WRS pension, vacation, sick/personal days, and a clothing allowance.
