The support provided through prayers, cards, visits, floral tributes, words of comfort, and memorials has given us strength and courage to carry on after the recent passing of our mother and grandmother on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Carol’s funeral service was held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Medford, on Saturday, June 14, 2024 at 3 p.m. Special thanks to Pastor David Spaude for his comforting words with the gospel message, Immanuel Lutheran Church office staff, Cathy Doman, special music by Bob Radtke and Lori Edelburg, Hemer-Pickerign Funeral Home director Stacy Pickerign and Andy Leonard, Flowers by Laurie, Carol’s hair stylist over the years, Cassandra Leonard, and gentle care and companionship by Hope Hospice and Aspirus Cedar Lane staff and residents. Additionally, Carol and her family are thankful for Andy and Marge Hogan and their white doves, Sam at The Bailiwick, and Gwen Bauman’s friendship, assistance, and special sightseeing rides over the last couple years.
