Crack Sealing Bids Wanted Town of Pershing The Town of Pershing will be accepting bids to crack seal a section of road beginning at the intersection of Hwy M and S Loop Rd and extending 2.25 miles South to Rued Rd. Requirements include all Cracks to be cleared of all debris and vegetation, mechanically routed 3/4 inch by 3/4 inch, heat lanced, air blown, followed by an application of Rubberized Hot Joint Sealer. All previously sealed cracks will be resealed. Crack Sealing needs to be bid per pound and work will need to be completed by October 1st. Wisconsin Central Ltd. (CN) is announcing plans to reconstruct a railroad crossing in the village of Gilman, Taylor County. Beginning Monday, Aug. 18, CN is upgrading the railroad crossing at Hwy 64 in Gilman. The street will be closed at the crossing, and a signed detour will be in effect.
