In addition, Section 9.6.11 of the City of Medford Code of Ordinances prohibits property owners from growing or pollinating any weeds, grass or brush which causes hay fever in human beings, emitting unpleasant or noxious odors or may conceal filthy deposits or provide for the accumulation of trash or litter. Property owners failing to comply will be subject, upon conviction, to a forfeiture. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day that such violation continues to exist. Wisconsin Central Ltd. (CN) is announcing plans to reconstruct a railroad crossing in the village of Gilman, Taylor County. Beginning Monday, Aug. 18, CN is upgrading the railroad crossing at Hwy 64 in Gilman. The street will be closed at the crossing, and a signed detour will be in effect.
