CHILD SUPPORT SPECIALIST Price County Child Support Department Price County is accepting applications for a Child Support Specialist under the supervision of the Child Support Director. This position performs advanced level paralegal duties including establishing and enforcing administrative and court ordered child support and related obligations. Work involves responsibility for exercising substantial independent judgment in assessing individual case needs to determine appropriate action to be taken within specific county, state and federal statutes, rules, and guidelines. Has frequent contact with the court system, clients, attorneys, law enforcement personnel, employers, other departments, other county and state agencies, and the community with the goal of ensuring cooperative efforts in all areas to maximize the establishment and enforcement of child support in Price County. This is a regular, full-time position with a starting hourly wage of $23.73 (Grade G) and full benefit package including Wisconsin Retirement System with employer match, income continuation insurance, choice of multiple health insurance plans including a no deductible plan, 22 days of paid leave within the first year, 10 paid holidays per year, paid maternity/paternity leave, and quarterly employee lifestyle enhancement reimbursement perk.
