Rib l ake The Village of Rib Lake, WI is accepting applications from candidates for a Department of Public Works opening. Village of Public Works Opening General requirements: Qualifications: High School graduate, have a WI CDL or able to get a CDL within 6 months of employment, is responsive to work within 15 minutes (i.e. call-in) pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam. Heavy manual labor, ability to lift 100 lbs., heavy equipment operation, parks and grounds, forestry, vehicle maintenance, mechanics, aptitude for electrical background, HVAC and safety – as they relate to Public Works. Municipal utility experience with Water/Sanitary/Storm Mains/ Lateral and repair principles a plus. Within 9 months of employment, Employee must obtain certifications and licenses required to operate and perform all testing for the Water and Sewer Departments. Benefit information will be available upon interviews. Wage will be based on experience and abilities. Applications can be picked up at the Village Clerk’s office.
