On December 24 at 4:38 p.m., a vehicle operated by Michaela Stephens, 38, of Thorp, was traveling south on CTH H, south of Miller Ave. According to the crash report, the Stephens vehicle was traveling about 60 mph in the 55 mph zone. A horse and buggy operated by Emma Yoder, 26, of Holcombe, was traveling south on CTH H. According to the crash report, Stephens did not see the buggy in time and attempted to drive around it. The front right portion of the Stephens vehicle struck the rear left portion of the buggy. The buggy went into the west ditch and Yoder was pulled in the reigns by the horse, which caused a suspected serious injury. Stephens pulled over to the south of the accident, driver wearing seat belt, driver not injured, no airbags, no ejection, no entrapment. Yoder was transported to hospital by ambulance.
