Project Description: The project consists of asphalt street improvements including milling, paving, and associated work on one block of Madison Avenue, Gumaer Street, West Street and Charles Street. Work generally includes: • Temporary traffic control and signage • Milling and butt joints • Milling along curb and gutter • Street sweeping and cleaning • Tack coat application • Asphalt paving (WisDOT Spec Type 5MT58-28S mix) • Compacted to an average thickness of 1.5 inches in one lift Approximate quantities include: • Charles Street: -1540 s.y. - bid each by per ton pricing • West Street: - 1550 s.y. - bid each by per ton pricing • Gumaer Avenue: -1500 s.y. - bid each by per ton pricing • Madison Avenue: - 240 s.y. - bid each by per ton pricing Bid Opening: Sealed bids will be received at the Edgar Village Hall, 224 S. 3rd Ave., Edgar, Wl, until May 8, 2026, at 4 p.m. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter and will be officially awarded at the Monday, May 11,2026, village board meeting at 8 p.m. Plans and Specifications: Plans and specifications may be obtained from the Village of Edgar or by contacting: Village of Edgar, 224 S. 3rd Ave., Edgar, Wl 54426; or https://www.vil.edgar.wi.us/streets Bid Requirements: • The village reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
