We are very humbled and honored by the overwhelming community support. The carnival, annual raffle ticket sales, music, games and parade were all well attended. We received many donations from our partners, from individuals and other groups. We would like to recognize the following groups for their hard work and devotion to make this Fun Days so successful: • Members of the American Legion Post 469 • Members of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 469 • Members of the American Legion Baseball/Softball Teams • Members of the Marathon Lions Club • Members of Marathon 2020 • Members of St. Mary’s Home & School • Members of Boy Scout Troop 458 • Members of Cub Scout Troop 458 • Members of Cub Scout Pack 458 • Members of the Legends Auto Show • Village of Marathon City • Marathon Fire Department • Marathon Police Department • Marathon High School • Marathon Business Association • Peoples State Bank • Arrow Tap Bar • Weik’s Pub & Grill • SCS Swiderski • County Materials Crew • Menzner Hardwood Crew • Rod Haehlke Crew • Anita Martin Family • Dave Ceranski Family • Community members that assisted in cleaning up and making repairs to Veteran’s Park • Any other groups that assisted Because of all the assistance (making it difficult to keep track), it would be regretful to miss anyone. So, with that being said, we want to thank the families of Marathon City and all surrounding communities for their help and support of Marathon Fun Days 2025. The enormous outpouring of support makes this very special and shows the strong bond of Marathon City and the surrounding communities. With the financial earnings & donations, the American Legion Post 469 & Auxiliary Unit 469 (along with the above contributing service organizations), we can continue serving our local veterans and the community this year.
