Book checkouts have officially begun across all grade levels. Our younger students are currently hard at work learning proper book care and handling habits. Looking ahead to late September, elementary classes will get hands-on experience with technology as they explore coding using the Indy robot car. Students in both buildings are also invited to take part in our upcoming 'Dress a Pumpkin Like a Book Character' contest! To enter: ➔ Pick a favorite book character and decorate a pumpkin or gourd at home (using paint, glue, fabric, etc.)-no carving, please! ➔ Bring your pumpkin to the library on October 26 or 27 along with the book or a photo of the book cover. ➔ Make sure your name is clearly written on the bottom or back. ➔ Voting takes place Wednesday, October 28, with winners announced October 29! This includes water damage from snow/rain or water bottles.
