SCHOOL DISTRICT OF GREENWOOD POSITION AVAILABLE The School District of Greenwood is looking for an Education Assistant to join its amazing family. The person hired for this position will report directly to the building principal. This is a school year, full-time position. QUALIFICATIONS/DUTIES: • High school diploma or GED required. • Support instruction: Assist the teacher with small group activities, one-on-one tutoring, and classroom prep. • Guide and encourage: Help students stay focused, manage daily tasks, and build confidence in their abilities. • Prompt safety: Provide supervision during classroom time, recess, lunch, and transitions throughout the day. • Foster inclusion: Assist students with diverse learning needs or accommodations outlined in their learning plans. SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS: Wage is competitive and based on experience. This position is for eight hours per day, during school days. This position does include benefits.
