Every week July 23 August 3 The Greenwood Area Fire and EMS District will have a quarterly meeting at 7 p.m. There will be an informational meeting at 6 p.m. in the Greenwood High School cafetorium to gather interest in the performing arts and the possible start-up of a community theatre group. Walk-ins welcome. The Loyal Community Food Pantry at 132 N. Main St. will be open on Tuesdays from 9 a.m.-noon, Wednesdays from 2:30-5 p.m., and Thursdays from 9 a.m.-noon. Lineup includes: 5 — FoxFire Affair; 12 — Schmittkicker Duo; 19 — Balsam Road Ramblers; and 26 — Bear Creek Band. On the 26th, the Chamber will announce the Citizen and Business of the Year. (Community Outreach Meal for Everyone) from 5-6 p.m. Menu includes brats, hot dogs, baked beans, broccoli and cauliflower salad, potato chips, and ice cream sandwiches. The Dave Edwards Group will perform an encore performance at 6:30 p.m. at the Spencer Community Band Stage.
