Every week May 3 May 16 Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 110 W. Begley St., Greenwood, will have a drive-thru only (lower level) charcoal chicken dinner from 11 a.m. till gone. Half chicken dinner is $12 and includes potato salad, baked beans, dinner roll, and dessert. The Loyal Community Food Pantry at 132 N. Main St. will be open on Tuesdays from 9 a.m.-noon, Wednesdays from 2:30-5 p.m., and Thursdays from 9 a.m.-noon. For more info, call 715-503-1071. A “Discovery Walk” will be held at the Kids Group Hall on Clark Street in Spencer at 1 p.m, with the Spencer Area Historical Society presenting a history of several deceased local residents and the impact they made on the Spencer community. Those being recognized are Carl and Lois Worchel, Ray and LuCille Tack, Sidney and Ralph Picus, Carl and Gertrude Graupner, and Rue and Mary Burnett. May 4 April 10–July 6 The Loyal Public Library will host Game Group at 1 p.m. with a variety of board and card games to choose from. All are welcome to attend. May 27 Why We Serve: Native Americans in the United States Armed Forces exhibit will be on display from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at The Highground Welcome Center, W7031 Ridge Road, Neillsville. Native American veterans and tribes are invited to share their stories, history, and memorabilia.
