Every week November 1 November 9 The Loyal American Legion, 302 N. Union St., will host a Veterans Breakfast from 7 a.m.-1 p.m., including scrambled eggs, buttermilk pancakes, real potato pancakes, applesauce, cheese, and sausage. The Loyal Community Food Pantry at 132 N. Main St. will be open on Tuesdays from 9 a.m.-noon, Wednesdays from 2:30-5 p.m., and Thursdays from 9 a.m.-noon. For more info, call 715-503-1071. Loyal Food Pantry is an equal opportunity provider partnering with DHS to provide USDA TEFAP Foods to our communities. The public is invited to the Fall Business Meeting of the Clark County Historical Society, held at noon at the Thorp Public Library. Representatives of local historical societies will report on their activities for this year and plans for next year. Officers will be elected and the spring meeting will be planned. The meeting will open with a potluck. An entree, beverages, and plates, etc. will be provided by the hosts. Participants are invited to bring a dessert or salad.
