Intermediate Crochet Class taught by Pat Bell This is an intermediate crochet class, meaning you will need to know how to do basic crochet stiches and what CH, SLS, SC, and a few other crocheting terms mean, plus know how to change colors. If you want you could do three colors but NOT more than three. There should be NO cotton yarn, NO bulky large/heavyweight yarn, and NO black or very dark colors. a. You will need between 728 to 1092* yards of yarn (*if you are using three colors.) b. Note, using a variegated coordinating yarn in mosaic projects adds even more dimension, pattern, interest, and depth. 5. Sewing measuring tape 6. Pencil 7. Writing/note paper 8. Calculator This class will use the Apache Tear mosaic pattern. You will be learning to read and work with a mosaic chart in the development of your table runner. This will be “your” creation. Take note, this class is a heavily driven homework class, in that you will not be able to finish the runner if you are only crocheting during class time.
