Clark County Humane Society Adopt-A-Pet • Meet Zayn, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Zayn came to CCHS from a farm in the Curtiss area that had been sold, so the kitties needed to _nd a new place to live. He's so very handsome with a white short-haired coat and gray tabby highlights. He is a little over 1 year old and weighs 5.3 pounds. Zayn is sweet, loving, playful, and craves attention and being with people. He did test positive for feline leukemia though, a virus that aects their immune system and can make a kitty more susceptible to other infections and illnesses such as upper respiratory infections with runny noses. FeLV positive cats can still live happy and healthy lives, although they may experience a shortened life span. FeLV is Zayn contagious between cats, so Zayn will need to be the only kitty in his new home or live with others cats that are feline leukemia positive. Zayn is a playful little guy and will provide lots of love and entertainment for his new family. Please apply to adopt Zayn today on our website: cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.
