Clark County Humane Society Adopt-A-Pet • Meet Hamm, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Hamm came to CCHS with his 12 siblings from a local farm. They are all wonderfully happy 10-week-old puppies. Just one little problem — they had ringworm. While not threatening to their lives, it does mean they can't be adopted til healed. They were quarantined for six weeks and have been cleared by our vet. Hamm is now a 4-month-old, handsome, shepherd mix with a short-haired yellow and white coat. He is quite the ham, with a smile on his face and a sunny personality. All of the pups in this litter have tremendous ears, too. With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important. Please consider adopting Hamm (or one of his siblings)! You can apply on our website: cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt. Freeday Friday is back!! On Friday, Aug. 1, Freeday Friday will be held at our original resale store located at 600 Hamm Hewett St., Neillsville (on the corner opposite the post office) from 9:30-11:30 a.m. This is our “inconvenience store.” We have lousy parking, terrible hours, not much is organized, and we don’t care if you buy anything or not. And yet, people love it. You know why? Because it’s all FREE! That’s right, bring your bags, boxes, cars, trucks, or buggies, and fill them up. See you then!! If you are interested in sponsoring the CCHS Adopt-A-Pet ad, please call 715-223-2342.
