Clark County Humane Society Adopt-A-Pet • Meet Tulip, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Tulip came to CCHS with her seven siblings from a local farm this past May. They are all named after flowers, and Tulip and her brother, Crocus, are the last two of the bunch. She is an 18-week-old, 17.4pound, heeler mix. Tulip is quite pretty with a white and black short-haired coat with blue merle. She is an active, energetic, typical heeler puppy, with a curious sense of exploration. She has a happy personality, and is always excited to see our volunteers and visitors. With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important. If you're looking to add a new friend to your world, please consider Tulip or Crocus! You can submit your adoption application right on our website: cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt. Stop in to visit! Freeday Friday is back!! On Friday, Aug. 1, Freeday Friday will be held at our original resale store located at 600 Tulip Hewett St., Neillsville (on the corner opposite the post office) from 9:30-11:30 a.m. This is our “inconvenience store.” We have lousy parking, terrible hours, not much is organized, and we don’t care if you buy anything or not. And yet, people love it. You know why? Because it’s all FREE! That’s right, bring your bags, boxes, cars, trucks, or buggies, and fill them up. See you then!!
