Loyal’s Little Learners Program ❤ Director Position The School District of Loyal is expanding and searching for a full-time director to coordinate Loyal’s Little Learners program, beginning with the 2025-2026 school year. The program will include Lil’ Dawgs — a before and after school program, as well as Lil’ Pups — a newly created 3K program. This position will be approximately 40 hours per week and include benefits through the School District of Loyal. Qualifications for Program Director: • Membership in an early childhood professional organization (preferred) • The ability to visually supervise children. • The ability to get up and down from the floor and small chairs often throughout the day. • The ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds to support the indoor and outdoor activity of children. • Experience in an early childhood center, elementary school, or daycare center. • Experience creating lesson plans with play-based curriculum. • First aid and CPR certified (or become certified prior to beginning in role). • Ability to pass state required background check. • Candidates should be able to remain calm, focused, and flexible in adjusting to the changing needs of the classroom each day. • The candidate should also have a willingness to learn about growth and development of young children and create an environment to meet their needs. Interested candidates can send their resume to: Chris Lindner, district administator, Responsibilities for Program Director: • Provides ongoing evaluation of the care services provided, and provides direction to staff regarding performance to improve quality of care given to the students. • Responsible for operation of both programs, including creating student and staff schedules and invoicing on a weekly basis. • Recruit and retain employees as needed. • Record keeping of all income, payroll, and staffing in coordination with the school district’s staff. • Responsible for making sure all staff maintain education and qualifications needed to adhere to Wisconsin’s set guidelines. • Responsible for maintaining the program in accordance with Wisconsin’s licensing guidelines. • Participate in school board meetings as needed, to provide updates or coordinate changes within the program. • Coordination of enrollment and open houses for new students throughout the year. • Participate in workshops and coordinate in-service staff meetings as needed. • Ensuring proper opening and closing of the center each day. • Create and implement weekly lesson plans. • Finalize the program handbook and ensure adherence.
