Doors open at 10:45 a.m. • 14, 21, 28: Scrapbooking day, all day event. • 15: Live and Learn — hydration station, 10:30 a.m.; stuffed animal sleepover, 6 p.m. • 16: Frolicking at the library, 10:30 a.m., free kids’ activity • 16, 23, 30: Lego Day, noon-2 p.m. • 17: “Camp Out!” book review, 1-2 p.m. • 18: Coffee Talk Book Club, 10:30 a.m. • 22: Perler bead crafts, all day • 24: Thirdfifth grade math adventure day, noon-5 p.m. • 11: Fiber artists meetup, 1-3 p.m. Bring your current project — whether you knit, crochet, embroider, or do other fiber arts — all are welcome! Swap ideas, learn new skills, or simply enjoy some social time. • 14-19: Paper snail craft. Drop in during open hours. Children are invited to the library to celebrate our summer library program theme, “Color Our World,” and craft an adorable paper snail. Younger children may need assistance from their caregiver. • 15: Family storytime, 10:30-11 a.m. Children age 6 and younger, and their parents or caregivers, are invited to join in to share books, sing a song or two, and more, during the time together. • 22: Ink-dyed coasters, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Participants ages 6 and above are invited to celebrate our Summer Library Program theme, “Color Our World,” and make ink-dyed coasters. Coat blank tiles with rubbing alcohol and crop colored alcohol ink onto coasters to create unique and beautiful designs. • 29: Minecraft Unplugged party: 12-3 p.m. Get ready to build, create, and have fun at the Minecraft Unplugged event! Create pixelated crafts, participate in fun activities, and snap a picture in our epic themed photo booth! Whether you’re a Minecraft expert or just love to be creative, this event is perfect for crafters and gamers alike.
