There will be a suicide awareness and prevention training from Highground executive director Chris Pettis at 5 p.m. and a drum circle at 7 p.m. Free and open to the public as part of The Highground’s Community and Military Outreach (CAMO) program. Main St., Greenwood, for anyone in need of assistance. May 15 Spencer Elementary School will host a spring concert at 1:30 p.m. in the Tack Center, 400 N. School St. May 2 May 8, 9, 10 May 17 Chili-wide garage sales (40-plus sales) will be held Thursday and Friday, 7 a.m.-6 p.m., and Saturday, 7 a.m.-noon., with maps available at all sales. Food and restrooms available. The Highground Veterans Memorial Park, W7031 Ridge Rd., Neillsville, will host a grand opening and ribbon cutting for its new Welcome Center at 4 p.m. The public will have the opportunity to view exhibit areas, the new event spaces, and the donor wall. Growing Granton Strong will host its annual Color Run. Starts at Granton Park. Registration opens 9:15 a.m. Kids’ course is at 9:45 a.m. 1- and 3-mile courses start at 10 a.m. Granton students’ participation is free but they must sign up.
