On Dec. 16, the Loyal music department will be having a winter concert featuring our sixth-eighth grade bands and choirs and high school bands and choirs, featuring a wide array of music. The concert begins at 7 p.m. in the Loyal High School gym. As part of the event, the Loyal Music Boosters will also be selling poinsettias to help fundraise for the music department. The money raised will go toward wonderful opportunities like summer camps, honors groups, field trips and equipment. We are excited to share what our students have been working on. See you there! The Cloverbelt All-Conference Honors Band and Choir will be held in Loyal on Jan. 18, 2025. This event brings together some of the top performers from schools throughout the conference to work with amazing clinicians. This year’s band clinician will be Dr. Kirt Saville, who has recently retired as the associate director of bands, professor of music education and director of the Brigham Young University School of Music. This year’s choir clinician will be Dr. Matheus Cruz, who is the current director of choral activities at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. We are very excited to have these people come to work with our students. There will be a concert at 6 p.m. in the Loyal High School gym to end the day. Come out and enjoy listening to our amazing students and hear from our great guest directors!
