Every week December 7 December 12 The Granton Elementary Christmas concert will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the central gym. The Loyal Community Food Pantry at 132 N. Main St. will be open on Tuesdays from 9 a.m.-noon, Wednesdays from 2:30-5 p.m., and Thursdays from 9 a.m.-noon. For more info, call 715-503-1071. Loyal Food Pantry is an equal opportunity provider partnering with DHS to provide USDA TEFAP Foods to our communities. The Loyal United Methodist Church will host their 13th annual cookie, candy, craft, porch pot and vendor sale, along with the children’s Christmas shop, from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m., at the Loyal American Legion, 302 S. The Loyal Chamber of Commerce will host their annual Christmas Lights contest, awarding four gift certificates to residents and businesses who decorate their places for Christmas. Judging will take place Dec. 15. The LuCille Tack Center for the Arts, at 400 N. School St., Spencer, will host a performance by Boogie and the Yo-Yoz at 7:30 p.m. Sold out, but call 715-659-4499 to be placed on the waiting list. December 16 The Greenwood Middle/High School band and choir Christmas concert will be at 7 p.m. in the high school gym. December 4, 18 December 7 The Greenwood Area Food Pantry will be open from 35:30 p.m. at 302 N. Main St., Greenwood, for anyone in need of assistance. December 16 The Christmas Parade will be held at 7:30 p.m. in downtown Abbotsford. If you would like to help with the parade, contact Kris O’Leary at 715-223-2342 or 715-360-0901 evenings. Costumes are still available and volunteers are still needed. The Loyal Middle/High School band and choir Christmas concert will be held at 7 p.m. in the high school gym. December 5 December 16 December 7 The Red Hats Christmas party will be at 11:30 a.m. at Rumors. Bring a wrapped white elephant item and a few cookies. Bingo will be played. Call June by Nov. 30 at 715255-9027. The Spencer School District Holiday Choral Concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Tack Center, 400 N. School St., Spencer. Santa will visit the Greenwood High School cafetorium from 10 a.m. to noon. Take the kids to get a photo with Santa and join him for lunch. December 6, 20 December 19 December 10 The Granton Middle/High School choirs will perform their winter/Christmas concert at 6:30 p.m. in the central gym. The Granton Pop-Up Food Pantry will be open at 21 S. Main St. From 11 a.m. to noon. No ID or proof of income required. Receive produce, dairy/meat and dry goods. You may pick up food for more than one household. For more info, call Feed My People Food Bank at 715-835-9415. The Colby Lions Club will offer bingo at the Colby Lions Shelter, 101 W. Adams St. Doors open at 5:45 p.m., bingo starts at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments and food available. Proceeds support Lions projects, such as hearing aids and eyeglasses for area youth, and the local food pantry. December 20 The Greenwood American Legion Post 238 will hold a fish fry from 4-7 p.m. at the Greenwood American Legion Hall at 108 S. Main St., Greenwood.
