LOYAL AREA HISTORICAL SOCIETY Home for Christmas 2024 The Loyal Area Historical Society is once more planning to celebrate “Home for Christmas,” Sunday, Dec. 1, from 1-6 p.m. All the buildings will be open for viewing. The community is invited to participate in a memorial service for anyone you want to honor. This year, we will have five memory trees. We request a $10 donation for each person you want to honor. We will read all the names at 5 p.m., following a brief ceremony and lighting of the trees. We will also have a printed list of names in the TRG in December. Santa will be coming this year. He will give each child a special treat. The museum will have cookies, cocoa and hot cider. There will be a bonfire and wagon rides around town from 2-4 p.m. 2024 was a very busy year. We resurfaced the driveway and added drain tile for a cost of $6,200. We have plans for 2025 to add Grambsch’s candy kitchen. We’ve had fundraisers throughout the year. Thank you for your continued support. History shapes the future.
