School credit union opens for another year Oct. 1 was the opening day for the 2024-2025 school year with our Simplicity Credit Union School Branch. There were 15 student deposits made, with more than 10 student volunteers leading. Middle school students apply for and interview for different credit union positions, including marketers and tellers. The school credit union is part of the district’s K-12 financial literacy program and is overseen by Jess Zarnke, financial literacy teacher, in collaboration with staff from Simplicity Credit Union in Marshfield.
