August 3-4 The ADRC of Clark County will host “Powerful Tools for Caregivers” from 2-3:30 p.m. This class helps caregivers reduce stress, balance their lives, increase their ability to make tough decisions and locate resources. July 25 The Branstiter Museum, 602 S. Main St., Greenwood, will be open from 12-3 p.m. Free admission. Call Pat at 715267-6355 for details. There will be a regular quarterly meeting of the Greenwood Area Fire and EMS District at 7 p.m. at the fire hall. August 4 August 7 July 27 The Greenwood Area Food Pantry, 302 N. Main St., will be open from 3-5:30 p.m. for anyone in need of assistance. The Highground Veterans Memorial Park, W7031 Ridge Road, Neillsville, will welcome Heroes Ride bicycle riders into the park for a ceremony at approximately 12 p.m. Three Heroes Ride participants will place stones at the park after the ceremony. Open to the public. Camp Victory, N9839 Sterling Ave., Willard, will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with free tours, raffles, games and food. The camp supports hope and healing through the outdoors for veterans and first responders. Free to attend. Bring a lawn chair. Food, beverages available for purchase. Held rain or shine. The Loyal Area Historical Society will meet at 3 p.m. at the museum, 501 E. Elm Drive. All members, please try to attend. The Highground Veterans Memorial Park, W7031 Ridge Road, Neillsville, will host a Badger Talk, “We Gotta Get Out of This Place: The Soundtrack of the Vietnam War” by UW-Madison Professor Emeritus Doug Bradley at 1 p.m. The free presentation explores how and why U.S. troops turned to music as a way of connecting to each other and coping with the complexities of war. July 30 August 9-11 The American Red Cross will host a blood drive at the Loyal American Legion, 302 N. Union St., from 12-5 p.m. Walk-ins welcome but appointments encouraged.
