Cooper is a 7-year-old, 23-pound mixed breed, although his ears look like there could be some dachshund in there. He has a short-haired brown coat with a little white trim. Cooper came to CCHS when his family lost their home and he didn’t have any place to go. He came to the shelter with 10 of his doggie friends. Cooper is a sweet and friendly guy, who was a little shy at fifirst, but now has warmed up to us. He’s used to living with dogs but isn’t so fond of cats. Cooper is a nice size to be a family dog, and with some love and patience, he’ll have a very happy life. If you’d like to adopt Cooper (or any of his friends) you can submit your application on our website: cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt. February is the best time to “Adopt Your ‘Purr-fect’ Love!” Adoption fees for cats and kittens have been sponsored by a generous shelter supporter for February. That means you can take home a kitty or two for $0! Standard adoption policies and procedures still apply. Stop in and take home your “purr-fect” love today! Cooper If you are interested in sponsoring the CCHS Adopt-A-Pet ad, please call 715-223-2342.
