January 26-28 Learn-A-Lot Preschool, 123 N. Main St., Greenwood, will host a soup supper from 3:30–8 p.m. Serving chili, chicken dumpling and potato soup, plus rolls, crackers, cheese, desserts, milk and coffee. Carryouts available. Raffles also. Use back parking lot entrance off of Hendren Avenue. January 13 Loyal FFA Alumni bowling tournament, Strike Time Lanes, Neillsville, with bowling shifts Friday at 8 p.m.; Saturday at 9 a.m., 12 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.; and Sunday at 11 a.m. Door prizes, raffles, food. The Growing Granton Strong Committee will host its free “Cabin Fever Bulldog Bash” activity day for families at the Granton school from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. See the “Cabin Fever Bulldog Bash” Facebook page for details. The Tack Center will sponsor an art night, held at 6:30 p.m. at the Spencer Community Room, 105 Park St., Spencer. Free and open to public. The Loyal Area Historical Society will have its annual meeting at 3 p.m. at the museum. All are welcome to attend. February 2-4 January 13 January 19 The Greenwood Lions Club will host a bingo night at the Greenwood American Legion. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and bingo starts at 6:30 p.m. The Greenwood American Legion Post 238, 108 S. Main St., will host a fish fry from 4–7 p.m. Carryouts available. Call 715-267-7441. The Highground Veterans Memorial Park, Neillsville, is hosting a veterans’ retreat which includes snowshoeing, PTS management workshops, art and cooking, and an ice fishing event on Lake Arbutus Feb. 3.
