Ruby is a 4-year-old cocker spaniel mix who weighs 23 pounds. She has a very pretty red and cream curly coat. Ruby came to CCHS when she was rescued from a puppy mill. She’s very happy to know that she won’t be having any more puppies! As a puppy mill survivor, Ruby is a special girl. She can be shy with new people. We know that she isn’t used to things that normal dogs are; a TV, radio, couch, hugs and kisses are all new experiences for her. It will be very important for her to be safe in her new family’s home and yard, as we know if she runs away, she’ll be a challenge to catch. With time and patience, Ruby will learn to trust and love her new people, becoming a cherished family pet.
