Loyal Area Historical Society’s “Christmas with Santa,” 510 N. Gwinn St., 1-6 p.m. Event includes pictures with Santa, cookies, cocoa and free self-guided museum tours. The Loyal Community Food Pantry at 228 N. Main St. will be open on Tuesdays from 9 a.m.-noon, Wednesdays from 2:30-5 p.m., and Thursdays from 9 a.m.-noon. For more info, call 715-503-1071. December 11 December 3 Loyal Middle/High School band and choir Christmas concert, high school gym, 7 p.m. All are welcome. November 30 Blood drive at Spencer village office, 105 S. Park St., 2-6 p.m. Call 715-659-5423 for appointment. Walk-ins welcome. The Neillsville Optimist Club will host its Holiday Party at the Clark Cultural Art Center, 201 E. Fourth St., Neillsville, from 1-3 p.m. Activities include performances by author Jake Jalapeno and his son, Enoch, with juggling, magic tricks and more. December 12 Granton Middle/High School will host its winter concert at 6:30 p.m. in the fieldhouse. All are welcome. December 1 December 3 December 15 There will be a Christmas tree lighting and visit from Santa at Sniteman Town Square in downtown Neillsville. Event begins at 5:30 p.m., Santa arrives at 6 p.m. The Clark County Male Chorus and Clark County Choraliers will present a Christmas concert at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. The Greenwood American Legion, 108 S. Main St., will host a fish fry from 4-7 p.m. Carryouts available by calling 715-267-7441. December 2 December 3 December 18 Loyal United Methodist Church will host its annual Cookie, Candy, Craft, Porch Pot and Vendor Sale at the Loyal American Legion, 302 S. Union St., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Variety of vendors. Lunch prepared by Legion. Also enjoy the Children’s Christmas Shop, in which kids can shop reasonably priced gifts for their family members. Spencer will host a Santa Claus visit, parade and tree lighting at 4:30 p.m. Parade will start by Christ the King Catholic Church and proceed down Wendell Street, ending at the community Christmas tree. St. John’s Lutheran Church, 210167 Highway 13, Spencer, will host “Blue Christmas” at 6:30 p.m., a worship service for those struggling in various ways. It might be the loss of a loved one, job, relationship, etc. Whatever has you feeling blue this holiday season, you are invited. It is a place to mourn and reflect, and share the hope of Jesus. December 4 December 2 Game Group will meet at 1 p.m. at the Loyal Public Library to play board and card games. All welcome. December 20 Abbotsford Christmas Parade, downtown Abbotsford, 7:30 p.m. Greenwood Area Food Pantry, 302 N. Main St., will be open from 3-5:30 p.m. for anyone needing assistance. December 6 December 3 Greenwood Area Food Pantry, 302 N. Main St., will be open from 3-5:30 p.m. for anyone needing assistance. December 21 At 1 p.m., Spencer High School will host its five-course Elizabethan Christmas Dinner with music from the Madrigal Choir. Contact 715-659-4211 ext. 5000 for tickets.
