Job Title: Deputy Clerk/Deputy Treasurer The Village of Spencer is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as Deputy Clerk/Deputy Treasurer. Clerk Duties: • Assist the Village Clerk in maintaining official records, documents and resolutions. • Respond to inquiries from residents, officials and other stakeholders. • Assist in elections. • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in public administration, finance, or a related field is a plus. • Previous experience in municipal government, administrative support, accounting, or a similar role is preferred. • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic accounting software, Workhorse Accounting Software knowledge a plus 2. Treasurer Duties: • Support the Village Treasurer in managing financial transactions and records. • Assist in financial reporting. • Process payments, invoices, and maintain accurate accounting records. 3.
