Every week November 28 December 3 The Clark County Male Chorus and Clark County Choraliers will present a Christmas concert at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. The Loyal Community Food Pantry at 228 N. Main St. will be open on Tuesdays from 9 a.m.-noon, Wednesdays from 2:30-5 p.m., and Thursdays from 9 a.m.-noon. For more info, call 715-503-1071. St. John’s Lutheran Church, 210167 Highway 13, Spencer, will host its COME (Community Outreach Meal for Everyone) Meal from 5-6 p.m. Menu: pork loin roast, rice, squash, bars. Free and open to all. December 3 November 23 November 30 Spencer will host a Santa Claus visit, parade and tree lighting at 4:30 p.m. Parade will start by Christ the King Catholic Church and proceed down Wendell Street, ending at the community Christmas tree. Blood drive at Spencer village office, 105 S. Park St., 2-6 p.m. Call 715-659-5423 for appointment. Walk-ins welcome. Granton Turkey Trot will be held at 8:30 a.m., starting at the Granton Community Center. Registration from 7:458:25 a.m. Registration fee is a non-perishable food item or hygiene item for the PDC women and children’s shelter/ resource center in Marshfield. December 2 December 4 Game Group will meet at 1 p.m. at the Loyal Public Library to play board and card games. All welcome. November 23 Loyal United Methodist Church will host its annual Cookie, Candy, Craft, Porch Pot and Vendor Sale at the Loyal American Legion, 302 S. Union St., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Variety of vendors. Lunch prepared by Legion. Also enjoy the Children’s Christmas Shop, in which kids can shop reasonably priced gifts for their family members. December 6 Loyal Community Thanksgiving Dinner, Trinity Lutheran Church, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Free and open to all. Freewill offering accepted for the Loyal Ministerial Fund and Loyal Food Pantry. Carryouts for shut-ins can be reserved by calling 715-255-9026 by Nov. 18. Greenwood Area Food Pantry, 302 N. Main St., will be open from 3-5:30 p.m. for anyone needing assistance. December 2 December 9 November 24-25 Abbotsford Christmas Parade, downtown Abbotsford, 7:30 p.m. The Greenwood Area Chamber of Commerce will host its Santa visit for kids at 10 a.m. in the school cafetorium. “There Once Was a Barn” holiday boutique, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., N9647 Gorman Ave., Willard. Includes local artists’ pieces and holiday decor. December 3 December 10 Sam Lathrop will have his senior piano recital at 1 p.m. at St. Anthony Church in Loyal. All are welcome to attend. November 25 At 1 p.m., Spencer High School will host its five-course Elizabethan Christmas Dinner with music from the Madrigal Choir. Contact 715-659-4211 ext. 5000 for tickets. The City of Greenwood will host Small Business Saturday, with special promotions at local businesses. December 11 December 3 Loyal Middle/High School band and choir Christmas concert, high school gym, 7 p.m. All are welcome. November 25 Loyal Area Historical Society’s “Christmas with Santa,” 510 N. Gwinn St., 1-6 p.m. Event includes pictures with Santa, cookies, cocoa and free self-guided museum tours. 35th annual Spencer PTA Holiday Craft Sale, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Spencer school. Over 100 vendors. Free admission, door prizes and food. December 12 Granton Middle/High School will host its winter concert at 6:30 p.m. in the fieldhouse. All are welcome.
