The exception is for fundraisers which are accompanied by a paid advertisement. Every week October 29 November 4 The Loyal Community Food Pantry at 228 N. Main St. will be open on Tuesdays from 9 a.m.-noon, Wednesdays from 2:30-5 p.m., and Thursdays from 9 a.m.-noon. For more info, call 715-503-1071. St. John’s Lutheran Church, 210167 Highway 13, Spencer, will host “Trunk or Treat” from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. For more information, call 715-659-5158. The Loyal and Neillsville communities will host a Change of Seasons Work Day to help the elderly and disabled clean their yards before winter. To sign up to have your yard raked or to volunteer, contact Judy Morrow at 715713-2885, or Gary Veltus or Bonnie Weyer. October 27-28 October 30 There will be a middle school band and middle/high school choir concert at 7 p.m. in the Loyal High School gym. November 4 The ShowCase Players will host a reader’s theatre, “Spooky Tales for Spooky Nights,” at 7:30 p.m. each night at Munson Bridge Winery. Tickets available by calling 715-229-4501. The Snowflake Holiday Arts & Crafts Show will take place at Greenwood High School from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. October 31 October 28 November 6 The Loyal Chamber of Commerce will host business trick-or-treating from 3-5 p.m. along Main Street and at participating businesses around town. A group will meet to play board and card games at the Loyal Public Library at 1 p.m. All are welcome. St. Ann’s Society will host its Harvest Sale, salad luncheon and bake sale from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 123 N. Main St., Greenwood. October 31 November 8 October 28 The Greenwood Area Food Pantry will be open at 302 N. Main St. from 3-5:30 p.m. for anyone needing assistance. SOLES (Supporting Our Loyal Elementary Students) will offer Trunk or Treat in the Loyal City Hall parking lot starting at 3:30 p.m. The Loyal Area Historical Society will meet at 3 p.m. at the museum. All are welcome to attend and tour the site. Doors open at 2 p.m. November 10 October 31 The Loyal School District will host a Veterans Day ceremony in the high school gym at 10 a.m. Open to public. October 29 Trinity Lutheran Church, 109 W. Clark St., Spencer, will host its “Trunk or Treat” from 5-7 p.m. Come to the parking lot see the vehicles or tables decorated for Halloween with themes appropriate for small children. In case of inclement weather, event will be inside. Immanuel Lutheran Church, N6455 County Highway G, Globe, will host a Mission Fest Dinner from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. including beef tips, mashed potatoes, sides and dessert. A freewill offering will be accepted.
