PUBLIC NOTICES NOTICE Minutes of the School District of Lake Holcombe Board of Education Regular Meeting Sept. 21, 2026 The regular monthly meeting, of the Lake Holcombe board of education, was held Monday evening, Sept. 21, 2026. The meeting was called to order, by the board vice president, at 5:30 p.m. The agenda was posted at the Holcombe Post Office, Lake Holcombe School and district Facebook page. Brian Guthman, Matt Flater, Debbi Readinger, Chris Stalheim and Lisa Spletter were present. Jamie Tester-Morfoot and Tess Engel arrived at 5:35 p.m. Kurt Lindau was absent. Others present: Joy Dain, of the Courier Sentinel, Angie Johnson, and Todd Senoraske The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Motion by Readinger and seconded by Flater, to approve the minutes of the 08/17/26, regular meeting, as printed. Motion carried unanimously. Public comments and correspondence: none Stalheim provided the administrative reports. Items included: district open house was a success and included a LH Pathways informational meeting, August professional development, updates to lunch/recess time, to allow for teacher collaboration, Homecoming week and September in-service. Plan to Win: Senoraske shared information, regarding Lake Holcombe’s athletics and activities. Items included WIAA Award of Excellence, present LH’s Student Leadership program at WADA, compliments from game officials on our coaches’ and athletes’ sportsmanship. Stalheim shared participation data. Motion by Morfoot and seconded by Flater, to approve the 2026-27 preliminary budget, to be presented at the annual meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
