172023 • wnaxlp NOTICE Advertisement for Bids The Cornell Area Fire Department will accept sealed bids, until 3 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025, at Home Town Tax & Accounting, 202 Main St., Cornell, WI 54732. Bids will be opened and read aloud, at 6 p.m., by the Cornell Area Fire Department. Bids are for a new well, for the Cornell Fire Station No. 2, located at 27865 270th Ave., Holcombe, Chippewa County, Wisconsin. The base bid a complete pump and pressure system, includes well drilling to 50 ft. well casing, well cap, pump, pressure tank and wiring to the interior shutoff valve. All underground fittings shall be stainless steel. Include all state and local permit fees. Provide an additional cost, per foot, beyond 50 ft. The owner reserves the right to reject any, or all, bids; to waive any technicality and to accept any bid, which it deems advantageous to the owner.
