The purpose of the hearing, is to consider public input on the proposed text amendments, pertaining to the Zoning Code, Title 13, Chapter 1. The proposed text amendment includes changes to Section 13-1-32(c), reducing the minimum lot size for a farm dwelling or a farm operation accessory use, from 35 acres to 20 acres, in the A-1 Agricultural District. The proposed text amendment includes adding Section 13-1-32(e)(5), adding a minimum floor area for a farm dwelling, to be 960 square feet, in the A-1 Agricultural District. Interested parties may give oral testimony. Written testimony will be accepted, by the village, prior to the public hearing. Anonymous testimony will not be accepted. The Planning and Development Committee will meet prior to the public hearing, to give a recommendation to the village board.
