Notice School District of Cadott Community NOTICE PURSUANT TO SECTION 893.77(2) WIS. STATS. To: All Interested Persons and Entities: Please take notice, pursuant to Section 893.77(2), Wis. Stats., that the School District of Cadott Community, Chippewa and Eau Claire counties, Wisconsin, has authorized the issuance of general obligation bonds (the “bonds”), in an amount not to exceed $9,965,000, pursuant to an initial resolution adopted Jan. 12, 2023, (the “initial resolution”) and approved at a referendum held April 4, 2023, (the “referendum.”) The district now intends to issue $9,965,000 General Obligation Promissory Notes (the “notes”), pursuant to the authorization provided by the initial resolution and the referendum, and has entered into a contract for the sale of the notes. It is anticipated that the closing of the notes will be held on or about July 8, 2024. A complete copy of the proceedings had, to date, is on file in the office of the district clerk and may be inspected at the district office, located at 426 Myrtle St., Cadott, Wisconsin 54727, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays, except for holidays, or upon request, by contacting the district office, at 715-2893795. Section 893.77(2), Wis. Stats., provides in part, that any action to contest the validity of the bonds or the notes, for other than constitutional reasons, must be commenced within thirty (30) days of the publication of this notice.
