Gilman School District administrator Walter Leipart educated board members on budget terminology and fund balances during a meeting on Monday, September 21, where the board also heard a complaint from a parent concerned about the school’s cell phone policy and subsequent consequences. Longtime Rib Lake Lion Tom Stewart points out his father, Leroy Stewart’s name in a program from the charter ceremony held in May 1966. Leroy Stewart is 97 years old and is the last surviving charter member of the service organization.
