Jennifer Kahn, a 2022 Medford Area Graduate, will graduate summa cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point after 3 years of college this May. She will graduate with a Biology Degree in the College of Letters and Science. Jennifer also had a minor in Psychology and a certificate in Environmental Ethics. She was chosen by the College of Letters and Science as the recipient of the 2024-2025 Distinguished Achievement Award for Graduating Students from the Biology Department. Jennifer is the only graduating Biology student receiving this award. A large bald eagle was observed cruising over the Chelsea Conservation Club on Hwy 13 on Thursday, September 10. At this point in the season eagles tend to frequent areas with plenty of open water, hunting for fish and other aquatic life before the cold sets in, cutting off those food sources.
