On December 28, at 9:30 a.m., a vehicle operated by Jaiden Forrest, 16, of Brookfield, was southbound on Highland Dr. in the town of Chelsea, and according to the crash report, the operator advised they swerved for a deer in the roadway and lost control, skidding into the east ditch, striking a Taylor Electric Cooperative utility pole and coming to rest facing a northwesterly direction.
