R EPORTS Found guilty
Donovan Acker, 22, of Sparta, was found guilty due to a guilty plea of OWI (1st). A count a operating with a PAC >=.15 was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion. Court ordered Acker to pay $1,145.50, have an ignition interlock device installed, have his drivers license revoked for seven months and undergo an alcohol assessment. Acker was also found guilty due to a guilty plea of drink intoxicants/inhale nitrous oxide in a motor vehicle as a driver and was ordered to pay $263.50.
Michelle Cahoon, 33, of Medford, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of speedometer violations, amended from speeding on city highway (11-15 mph) and was ordered to pay $175.30.
Eric Doberstein, 27, of Withee, was found guilty of two separate counts of operating without a valid license, each of which had been amended from operating while revoked (revoked due to alcohol/ controlled substance/ refusal) and was ordered to pay $267.50 for each offense. A count of operating a motor vehicle without insurance was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion.
Donna Novotny, 79, of Sheldon, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of disorderly conduct as a ordinance violation amended from misdemeanor disorderly conduct and was ordered to payt $330.50.
Deferred
A deferred prosecution agreement was approved for Hudson Briggs, 17, of Medford for a charge of failure to keep vehicle under control.
A deferred prosecution agreement was approved for Mi Kenney, 61, of Medford, for an ordinance violation of disorderly conduct - domestic.
A deferred entry of judgment agreement was approved for Rachel Ogle, 33, of Medford, for disorderly conduct - domestic abuse. Along with the standard conditions of the DEJ, defendant shall engage in personal counseling with a treatment provider of her choice and must complete any recommended follow-up treatment, to which proof must be provided to the District Attorney's office that defendant has attended counseling, the general topics addressed and whether she has complied with the follow-up recommendations. Written verification must be provided prior to the expiration of the agreement.
Dismissed
An ordinance violation of failure to maintain holding/septic tanks was dismissed against Paul Kaminiski, 66, of Withee.
