James A. Riegert

1945-2024

James A. Riegert, 79, of Medford, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024 at his home under the care of Hope Hospice. James was born on Sept. 21, 1945 to Joseph and Irene (Schneider) Riegert in Deer Creek. He grew up on a farm in Stetsonville and graduated from Medford High School.

After graduation, James served in the United States Marine Corps for 3 years. Following his service, he lived in California, working as a handyman and gardener. He later moved back to Wisconsin to be closer to family.

James was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Lois Wimmer and Gerald Riegert.

He is survived by his siblings Joan Gorichs, Kenneth (Betty) Riegert, Shirley Oleson, and Larry Riegert.

James requested no funeral services to be held.
