Four reminders to stay safe on the road this fall
The families of the first Lutheran Church Westboro children’s Vacation Bible School made a very generous donation to The Rib Lake food pantry in August purchasing $131 worth of vegetables from Pippy's Roadside Produce Stand located on Hwy 13 in Westboro. Stand owners Dawn and Bob Pipkorn added an additional $78 worth of produce to go along with the donation from the VBS students. A total of 10 youth participated in the VBS and it was noted by the Bible School coordinator it made for a noisy offering at the church services the weeks before and after the VBS program. The theme for VBS this year was Big Heart Farms, Fruit of the Spirit which worked well with the produce donation and helped local families in need. SUBMITTED
