Traffic court

A charge of failure to pay parking fine against Samantha L. Sauerman, 29, Denver, Colo., was dismissed on a prosecutor’s motion.

The following made initial appearances in court and entered pleas of not guilty: Desiree R. Aeschliman, 17, Medford, truancy-first offense and two counts of truancy- second or greater offense; Deserie P. Granado, 54, Gilman, resisting/obstructing an officer and dangerous or vicious dogs or other animals; Bradley E. Hendrickson, 19, Marshfield, underage drinking-possession (first offense); Aiden A. M. Johnson, 17, Medford, minor possessing or purchasing tobacco or nicotine; Damon J. Lueck, 22, Rib Lake, speedometer violations; Lane B. Meier, 17, Ogema, operate motor vehicle by permittee without instructor, speeding 25-29 mph over the limit and possession of open intoxicants in motor vehicle by driver; Shane C. Will, 44, Wausau, fishing with more than three hooks, lines or baits; Jarod J. Jochimsen, 18, Medford, disorderly conduct.

Isiah L. Covert, 20, Medford, and Issac A. Olson Hase, 18, Sheldon, pled no contest to separate charges of underage drinking-possession (first offense). They each forfeited $263.50 and their driver’s licenses were suspended for 30 days.

Paul P. Deml, 53, Medford, pled no contest to operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration (PAC) greater than or equal to 0.15 percent (first offense). Deml forfeited $1,067; his driver’s license was revoked for eight months; an ignition interlock device is to be installed on his vehicle for 12 months; and must complete and alcohol and drug assessment and follow through with a driver safety plan.

Deml also pled no contest to a separate charge of speeding 16-19 mph over the limit and forfeited $200.50.

A separate charge of operating while under the infl uence-first offense (PAC greater than or equal to 0.15 percent) against Deml was dismissed on the court’s own motion.

Amber L. VanLuven, 17, Abbotsford, pled guilty to underage drinking-possession (first offense). She forfeited $263.50 and her driver’s license was suspended for 30 days.
