Hornets shut down Cards

In their lone game of the week, the Cadott volleyball program was at home, facing off with West Cloverbelt Conference opponent Thorp. The Hornets were on point, taking the sets handily, 25-12, 25-15 and 25-15.

Leading for the team, was senior Haley Mathison, with 21 kills, while senior Karlee Davis collected 31 assists and 3 aces. Freshman Kollyns Zastrow added 6 kills, 6 aces and 6 digs to the mix, with sophomore Sydney Spaeth coming up with 6 kills and 8 digs, while sophomore Olivia Blanchette had 3 aces and 8 digs.

“The girls were fired up on the court and were hungry for the win,” said coach Kaitee Kozial.
