Hornets take game away from Thunder on the road

By Ginna Young

It was off to Osseo-Fairchild, Sept. 3, for the Cadott volleyball program, where they saw great effort as a team. The Hornets hit a speed bump in the second set and couldn’t get into a rhythm, but turned it around to get back on track.

That allowed Cadott to finish the match, taking the win in three sets.

Senior Karlee Davis added 26 assists to her career record, while senior Haley Mathison had 16 kills and 2 blocks, with freshman Kollyns Zastrow ending with 8 kills and sophomore Olivia Blanchette notching 10 digs. Overall, there were 11 team aces.

“Our serving was awesome last night,” said coach Kaitee Kozial.
