The Wednesday Tee-Hi Ladies Golf League ended league play onWednesday Aug. 27.

Highlights of the season included a Theme Day 'Christmas in June” and our annual Ladies Guest Day which was held on July 7, which included 44 out of town golfers. Ladies participated from Eau Claire, Lake Wissota, Bloomer, Owen, Holcombe, Phillips, Prentice, Ladysmith, Lake Hallie and Medford. The format was a blind partner scramble. The proceeds ($1,200) from that day were presented in the amount of $600 to the Medford Fire Department and $600 to Neighbor to Neighbor.

At the end of the year business meeting, the membership also approved donations from its general fund in the amount of $500 to the REC Center and $250 scholarships to Adalyn Dittrich and Laura Wegerer. Officers were elected for 2026. They are president Ronette Lehman, vice president Lisa Bub, treasurer OraLee Dittrich and secretary Wendy Plawski.

To conclude the season, the ladies enjoyed a recognition banquet at Centennial Community Center in Stetsonville. Margie Guziak was presented with the “Green Jacket” for the 2025 season. Previous Green Jacket recipients are: Ruth Stromila, LeMay Wilde, Carol Willman, Mal Hui Fischer, Mary Werner, Ronette Lehman, OraLee Dittich and Maggie Gebauer.
