Cornell can’t overcome visiting Warriors team

Cornell was on their home court, Dec. 20, for a girls basketball match-up against Winter, in an East Lakeland Conference bout.

Unfortunately, the Warriors proved too much for Cornell and the game went the way of Winter, 68-49. That puts the Chiefs at 0-6 this season, with a league record of 0-3.

Leading the way for Cornell, was sophomore Haylee Ellis, with 19 points, while senior Bralee Schroeder came next, with 15 points and senior Alyssa Bowe ended the night with 13. Freshman Kaitlyn Helland rounded out the scoring, with 2 points.
