Hornets split a pair of Cloverbelt games

Cadott faced off with a couple West Cloverbelt Conference opponents over the week, for the boys basketball program, but split the matches between the opponents.

Dec. 10 vs. Bloomer conference (L 82-56)

The Hornets hosted Bloomer, to begin the week, but were outscored by the visitors, 82-56.

Nonetheless, senior Braden Schneider racked up 23 points, while senior Blane Mengel had 10.

Dec. 13 vs. Thorp conference (W 59-46)

A few nights later, Cadott was on the road to Thorp, but found themselves down at halftime by seven. In the second half, the Hornets stepped up their offense and outscored the Cardinals, to take home a 59-46 victory.

Senior Cameron Allard was hot from behind the arc, connecting on five, three-point shots, for 21 points. Schneider and senior Parker Davis each added 14 points, Jackson Barone ending with 7.

Mengel chipped in with 2 points, while junior Aiden Rykal shot a free throw.

Cadott is now 4-1 on the season and 1-1 in the league.
