By Ginna Young
There aren’t many meets left before the playoffs, but Lake Holcombe’s cross country team is getting faster each time they’re on a course.
Oct. 3 Owen-Withee
It was off to Owen’s course, going up against some different competition, to start the week.
Sophomore Alex Dixon placed highest for the Chieftains on the boys’ side, coming in 13th, with a time of 21:08.8, while sophomore Logan Jaedike was 25th (22:49.8).
Oct. 5 Thorp
Lake Holcombe then traveled to Thorp, where the Chieftains continued to improve their times.
Dixon again took the top honors, finishing 22nd (20:37.5) and Jaedike was 43rd (22:28.9).
